Properties

With a canopy from the YSHIELD series, you are choosing the highest quality canopies from Germany with over 20 years of experience. Create a safe place to sleep, live or work - reliably shielded from electromagnetic fields. Canopies are perfect for rented apartments and can easily be taken with you when you move house.

Shape

Electromagnetic field shielding canopy in box form for single beds up to 120 cm wide. The box shape offers the best feeling of space, but cannot be hung on sloping ceilings. Entrance: Through an overlapping opening. Assembly: Suspension via four points on the ceiling. Rods (not included) can be inserted into the four sewn-in tabs at the top to stabilize the box shape. Dimensions (+/- 5 % tolerance): Width 120 cm, depth 220 cm, height 220 cm. Scope of delivery: canopy, fixing material.

Fabric

Sewn from our inexpensive SILVER-COTTON cotton fabric with a sensationally high attenuation of 42 dB in this price range. Good light and air permeability, creases very little.

Care instructions

• Gentle cycle at 30°C exlusively with our TEXCARE detergents
• Iron without steam at degree 1
• Drying at low temperature
• No bleaching
• No chemical dry-cleaning

Shielding attenuation HF & LF

This product shields high frequency electromagnetic fields (HF). Unless otherwise stated, the indicated dB-values apply to 1 GHz. Measurement from 600 MHz to 40 GHz according to standards ASTM D4935-10 or IEEE Std 299-2006.

Together with a shielding canopy base, a Faraday cage is created, which is why low-frequency alternating electric fields (LF) are also shielded.

We have already invested in our own professional EMV laboratory years ago. We not only use it to create our laboratory screening reports but also to check each batch daily.
