Properties

ULTIMA_ARBOR™ from Swiss-Shield® is an innovation in terms of ecology and sustainability. Instead of polyester or cotton, this fabric is made from viscose: LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers are obtained from certified renewable wood in an ecologically responsible manufacturing process in compliance with high environmental standards and contribute to a sustainable lifestyle and a clean environment. With its very high shielding performance and renowned excellent feel, Swiss-Shield® once again proves that it is a global pioneer in eco-technical fabrics.

ULTIMA_ARBOR™ from Swiss-Shield® consists of 82 % ECOVERO™ fibers from LENZING™, which are EU Ecolabel certified.

Care instructions

• This fabric must NOT BE WASHED IN A WASHING MACHINE. A PROFESSIONAL DRY CLEANING P at a dry cleaner with experience with VISCOSE is recommended. The care instructions can be found above in the downloads.

This product with an electrically isolated surface cannot be contacted or grounded.

Shielding attenuation HF & LF

This product shields high frequency electromagnetic fields (HF). Unless otherwise stated, the indicated dB-values apply to 1 GHz. Measurement from 600 MHz to 40 GHz according to standards ASTM D4935-10 or IEEE Std 299-2006.

This product contains electrically conductive parts on the inside which can neither be contacted nor grounded. That’s why individual areas do not shield low frequency electrical fields (LF). In case this product is used as a Faraday cage (complete shielding on six sides), there will be no low frequency electrical fields (LF) on the inside, which can be proven with a potential free measurement.
